Exploring your feelings and addressing mental health concerns can be a scary, uncomfortable, overwhelming, and challenging experience. My goal is to help make this process as comfortable, beneficial, and insightful as possible.

Hello, my name is Kseniya Bulat, and I am a registered RSW. My years of academia and work-related experience have solidified my desire to help individuals through psychological turbulences and personal hardships. I immigrated to Canada at a young age, and worked hard to overcome a multitude of challenges, ranging from cultural adjustments and language barriers to feelings of loneliness and alienation. Throughout the process, I learned the immense value of having someone to talk to for guidance, support, and understanding during such a transformative time. Having had this exposure, I hope to offer and provide the same critical support and warmth I was granted in my earlier years. Together, we will work collaboratively to explore your goals, navigate challenges, and create meaningful and lasting changes in your life. I am honoured to be a part of your therapeutic journey and look forward to helping you find the healing, resilience, and personal growth you seek.

My approach to therapy has always been rooted in anti-oppressive, non-judgemental, and empathetic principles. I firmly believe in creating a space that acknowledges systemic forms of oppression such as racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, and ageism to list a few of the very many. By actively addressing these socially rooted inequalities, I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and validating environment for clients of all walks. With that I aim to foster a genuine sense of trust with my clients, allowing them the ability to be their authentic selves and share their unique journeys.

“If it is out of your hands, then it deserves freedom from your mind too.”
